Structuralism:
A form of interpretation and analysis of aspects of human behaviour which focuses on a contrast between elements.
Semiotics:
Is an investigation into how symbols can be used a form of communication. This creates visual and linguistic meaning.
Auteur Theory:
An auteur is an artist, such as a film director, who may apply a centralised and subjective control to many aspects of a collaborative creative work.
Feminism:
The encouragement of equal rights of sexes.
